About this event

Held annually in Kihoku Town, Ehime Prefecture, the "Night Kagura in Oni Village & Hiyoshi Star-Falling Candle Night" is an event organized since 2014, led by a local revitalization group. At this year's Candle Night, collaborative works created by local Hiyoshi Junior High School students and university students will decorate the venue. The fantastical atmosphere of the Night Kagura blends with the warm candle lights created by the students, creating a special evening. The venue is the parking lot of the Kihoku Town Museum of History and Folklore, with Shinto rituals starting at 17:30 and the performance beginning at 18:00. Vehicles are not permitted to enter the venue, so please use the nearest parking lot. This event will be a valuable opportunity to experience the charm of Kihoku Town.
