About this event
The date has been set for the "2026 Furusato Muroto Festival" held in Muroto City, Kochi Prefecture. Band performances, Japanese taiko drumming, and other entertainment are scheduled for the day, alongside a fireworks display of approximately 4,000 shells. Visitors can fully enjoy the festival coloring the summer night sky in Muroto City—known as the easternmost tip of Tosa, blessed with sparkling ocean bounties, Kobo Daishi (Kukai), and deep sea water.
