Susaki Ennichi Shopping Street Fish Culture Festival

This event aims to widely promote the history and culture of Susaki City, which has developed alongside its bountiful sea, allowing citizens and participants from outside the city to enjoy themselves together and experience the charm of Susaki as a "town of fish." Events such as the "Susaki Fish Festival," offering fresh Susaki fish at special prices, and the "Hocho-shiki and Gagaku Festival," where visitors can experience traditional Japanese culture, will be held. In addition, the "Ocean Town Music Festival" will be held by elementary, junior high, and high school students, centered around Susaki Sogo High School. Furthermore, a "Kitchen Car & Marche" gathering popular sweets, cafes, and general goods shops from within the prefecture will also be held to deliver the charms of Susaki. The venues are the Susaki City Ennichi Shopping Street (around the Central Shopping Street) and Ocean Town Hall (Susaki Municipal Citizens Cultural Hall). Admission is free, but those wishing to participate in the "Hocho-shiki and Gagaku Festival" must apply in advance.
