Pobobo Shokudo: A Far Walk for a Good Meal in Ehime / Kochi Kuroshio Umikaze Shop

As the very first cross-prefectural project by 'Pobobo Shokudo,' this one-day-only event allows participants to walk from Sukumo City in Kochi Prefecture to Ainan Town in Ehime Prefecture while enjoying the beautiful seaside scenery, crossing the prefectural border to savor the pride of both prefectures' seafood. Connecting Ehime and Kochi through 'walking' and 'eating,' participants at this dining hall walk until they are famished, and upon reaching their destination, indulge in exquisite dishes packed with the delicacies of Ehime and Kochi. Enjoying a meal while acknowledging the efforts of fellow walkers is exceptional, and at the finish line, a hearty special menu is prepared, featuring sea milk nurtured by Misho Bay, Double Oyster and Citrus Aroma Oyster Takarameshi, rich and savory Hiougi Shellfish Ahijo (palette of the sea), Seared Bonito Tataki drizzled with Yuzu Garlic Mayo Sauce, and Kochi-produced Suji-Aonori and Tofu Egg Drop Miso Soup. Through this unique experience, participants can fully enjoy the charms of the region.
