Takarakuji Furusato Wakuwaku Theater in Tosashimizu

Takarakuji Furusato Wakuwaku Theater is a two-part event. Part 1 is the 'Comedy On Stage' featuring comedians including rakugo storytellers, comedy sketches, comic monologues, and stand-up comedy duos. Part 2 is the 'Heartwarming Comedy Theater' co-starring Yoshimoto Shinkigeki members and local performers. An open audition for local performers is currently underway, and anyone can apply regardless of age or gender. Since the audition is open to the public, non-participants can also watch. The performance will be held on Sunday, September 13, 2026, in the 3F Multipurpose Hall of Tosashimizu Municipal Central Community Center, opening at 13:00 and starting at 14:00. The ticket price is 2,000 yen for all reserved seats (2,500 yen on the day), and admission is charged for ages 3 and up. Tickets are on sale at Tosashimizu Municipal Civic Cultural Hall and LAWSON (L-code: 61573). The event is organized by Tosashimizu City and the Japan Center for Local Autonomy.
