About this event
The 43rd Tosashimizu City Industry Festival will be held at the plaza in front of the former Prefectural Joint Government Building site in Nishimachi, Tosashimizu City. Aiming to develop local industries and pass down local culture, this festival features performances of local folk arts such as Baranuki-bushi and Tachi-odori (sword dance), traditional mochi tossing (mochinage), and sales of local specialties including Soda-bushi (dried frigate tuna flakes). As a family-friendly event, emphasis is placed on tasting and viewing. Opening hours are from 9:30 to 15:00, and admission is free. No advance registration is required, so please feel free to visit.
