Autumn Foliage at Todoroki Waterfall
Japanese name:轟の滝の紅葉
📅 Tue, Nov 24, 2026 - Fri, Dec 4, 2026
About this event
Selected as one of Japan's Top 100 Waterfalls, the three-tiered Todoroki Waterfall with a drop of 82 meters is richly colored by scenic autumn foliage. During the foliage season, teahouses are also open, allowing visitors to savor handmade soba, udon, and inaka-zushi (countryside sushi) while viewing the autumn leaves adorning the waterfall. The usual best viewing time is from mid-November to late November, and the types of autumn leaves include Japanese maple. The Kahoku Momiji Festival (tentative) will also be held.
