The "3rd None River Sweetfish Festival," held at the None River riverbed in Toyo Town, is an event where you can fully enjoy the blessings of the clear river. It is full of activities to interact with aquatic life and water, including sweetfish (ayu) fishing experiences, bare-handed catching of sweetfish and eels, and charcoal salt-grilling experiences of wild sweetfish. With hands-on activities where you can touch, catch, and taste the fish, there is plenty for the whole family to enjoy. Furthermore, local restaurants and bakeries are scheduled to open stalls, allowing visitors to savor local specialty foods. Please come and join the "Ayu Festival" for parents and children.
