Held in Wakkanai City, the "Emergency & Fire Prevention Fair 2026" aims to deepen local residents' accurate understanding and knowledge of emergency services and emergency medical care, while fostering familiarity with firefighting duties. The venue features distinctive firefighting activities, including an impressive ladder truck display, a water fire extinguisher challenge, water discharge drills, and firefighter protective gear try-on sessions. Inside the Soya Fureai Park facilities, practical knowledge can be gained at experiential corners for CPR and first aid. With drawing exhibitions by local senior kindergarten children, the program is packed with attractions for the entire family from children to adults. Please feel free to come with family and friends. Note that in case of fire, disaster, or emergencies, response operations will take priority and the event may be canceled.
