About this event
This event aims to promote 'Otsuki, the Town of Tuna' and enhance the brand value of tourism and food culture centered on Pacific bluefin tuna. It seeks to revitalize the local economy centered on fisheries, agriculture, forestry, commerce, and industry, and to widely share the appeal of local products. At the venue, in addition to sales of a limited 1,000 servings of tuna rice bowls and tuna fillets, fresh agricultural, forestry, and marine products as well as local specialties produced in the town will be available. Various stage events for both children and adults will be held, including the annually popular 'Catch the Fish by Hand' activity, performances by the Otsuki Junior High School Brass Band, traditional performing arts, and Yosakoi dance. It is a major autumn event where visitors can fully enjoy Otsuki Town's pride, 'tuna'.
