To mark the 11th anniversary of the Ongagawa Pumping Station being inscribed as a World Heritage site under "Sites of Japan's Meiji Industrial Revolution," Nakama City will host the "Nakama Heritage Fest 2026." This festival is an event where visitors can gain deep knowledge about the charms of modern industrial heritage, including the Ongagawa Pumping Station, through special experiences. By offering special tours of areas usually closed to the public and sharing untold stories associated with the land, it provides an opportunity to discover new appeals of Nakama City.
