The 22nd Hoshi no Deai Exhibition

In the town of Ogori, 'Hoshi no Deai Exhibition' will be held, gathering one-of-a-kind works born from the passion of artists—the 'stars' who earnestly continue creating. Just as stars connect to form constellations, we hope that new 'encounters' (deai) will be born at this place. At the venues, Hisamitsu Farm will offer exhibitions and sales of veteran potted arrangements showing beautiful seasonal appearances, new works, moss balls (kokedama), Japanese-style potted arrangements, flower seedlings, domestically produced aroma oils, and agricultural produce (newly harvested rice, vegetables, pickles, fruits, and more). Workshops for moss balls, potted arrangements, and pottery will also be held. At Fumi, remade kimono and obi, as well as kurume kasuri clothing, will be displayed and sold. At Ohara Community Center, works including Color Rattan Saito (rattan crafts), accessories (natural stone, tatting lace), tsumami zaiku and mizuhiki accessories, small leather goods, embroidered accessories, hand and foot care, and tole painting & bead knitting will be lined up. At Atelier Cotswolds, handmade sundries, cloth goods, and accessories will be sold along with workshops. At Kirsche, dried flowers, potted arrangements, swags, and wreaths will be on sale, and visitors can also enjoy a mini swag-making workshop.
