About this event

The "Fiscal Year 2026 JASDF Tsuiki Air Base Air Review" will be held at the Japan Air Self-Defense Force Tsuiki Air Base. The base will be opened to the public, and thrilling flight demonstrations as well as ground displays of aircraft and equipment are customarily held. Although it will be held on a reduced scale this year due to construction work inside the base, flight demonstrations by base-stationed aircraft, static aircraft displays, and equipment displays are scheduled as in previous years. Admission is free and no advance application is required. Baggage inspections will be conducted on the day, so cooperation is requested. Since there is no parking for general visitors inside the base, the use of public transportation is recommended. Event details are subject to change depending on the weather. In past editions, diverse events have taken place, such as flight demonstrations by F-2 support fighters and Blue Impulse, ground displays of various aircraft and vehicles, anti-aircraft weapon displays, performances by the base drum club "Shoryu Daiko," and fancy drills by aviation cadets. Although the 2026 Air Review will be scaled down due to base construction, it will be a valuable opportunity to witness the activities of the JASDF up close.
