52nd Kyuragi-machi Cool Evening Fireworks Festival

The 52nd Kyuragi-machi Cool Evening Fireworks Festival, beloved as a summer tradition in Karatsu City, Saga Prefecture, will be held. On the day, in addition to the display of about 500 fireworks lighting up the night sky, visitors can enjoy various events from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM, including food trucks, the Kyuragi Marche, and an RC car racing meet. Furthermore, stage events start at 5:30 PM, featuring Japanese taiko drumming performances, baton twirling showcases, a special live show by the Vpro Kaizokudan, and a soap bubble show. A fun lottery drawing with luxurious prizes will also take place, enlivening the venue. The Riverside Fest will be held from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, and wristbands for participating in the fun lottery drawing will be distributed during the Riverside Fest or from 4:30 PM at the headquarters tent inside the venue. In case of stormy weather, only the fireworks will be postponed to August 30 (Sunday).
