About this event

Following its immense popularity in 2023, 'U-Tan Games' returns with the 'Earth Edition.' This special exhibition features approximately 20 types of handmade games where children and adults alike can enjoy exploring Earth using both their minds and bodies. Visitors can also enjoy all 9 retro digital game titles created specifically for this exhibition by automaton artist Kazuaki Harada, alongside wooden analog games crafted by museum staff. With games suitable for young children, such as fishing, building blocks, and ball rolling, the lineup caters to a wide range of age groups. Additionally, coin-operated games presented by 'musee AUTOMATON,' a museum run by Kazuaki and Megumi Harada, will be featured, allowing guests to experience games with the warmth of wood. While some games require a fee, the exhibition can basically be viewed with regular permanent exhibition admission.
