Celebrating the 4th anniversary of the Nishi-Kyushu Shinkansen, the "GO WEST4 Night Festival" is an event to enjoy the special look of the Kamome train at night. On October 3, 2026, the "GO WEST4 Night Festival" celebrating the 4th anniversary of the Nishi-Kyushu Shinkansen will be held. This year's theme is "Night," allowing visitors to experience the new charm of the Kamome train and stations illuminated by evening lights. At the event, the "GO-NORI-HODAI" 1-day unlimited ride T-shirt ticket for the Kamome will be sold; wearing this T-shirt allows unlimited rides on unreserved seats on the Nishi-Kyushu Shinkansen for one day to enjoy events held across 5 stations along the line. In Takeo City, the "GO-YOMATSURI" held from 9:00 to 21:00 at the Takeo-Onsen Station South Exit Station Plaza will feature diverse gourmet food and merchandise, including pudding specialty shops, bakeries and sweets shops, sake sales, and wood carving exhibitions and sales. In addition, sightseeing bus tours, town walking events, and garapon raffles will be held, offering programs to fully experience Takeo's charms. In Ureshino City, a market and kitchen cars will operate from 10:00 to 20:00 at the Ureshino-Onsen Station West Exit Station Plaza, alongside mini trains and festival game stalls. In Omura City, food and merchandise sales will take place from 13:00 to 20:00 at the Shin-Omura Station East Exit Galleria. This night festival offers a special opportunity to experience the charms of western Kyushu from an evening perspective.
