At the "22nd Autumn Arita Ceramics Festival," you can search for your favorite ceramic pieces while taking a leisurely walk through the autumn-tinted town of Arita. Unlike the Arita Ceramics Fair held during Golden Week, there is no participation from outside Arita Town, and the event is hosted primarily by kilns and shops within the town. Pedestrian precincts will not be implemented, but travel by car is possible, and the entire town serves as the venue. Various forms of hospitality are prepared at each kiln, shop, and facility. In addition, the concurrently held "Arita Chawan Festival" takes place at Arita Sera. As for transportation, walking, car, and free shuttle buses (departing from and arriving at Arita Station) can be used, and rental bicycles are also available. In addition to tourist parking lots, free temporary parking lots will be established during the period at Izumiyama Magnetite Quarry, Hands-on Workshop Rokuro-za, Arita Elementary School, Honmachi, Arita Sera, Arita Porcelain Park, and other locations. Some parking lots are available only on Saturdays, Sundays, and national holidays. The festival is held in accordance with the operating hours of each shop and facility, and there are no early morning operations. Autumn foliage spots include the Great Ginkgo Tree and Izumiyama Magnetite Quarry. Brochures are scheduled to be completed in mid-September and can also be sent by mail. Wheelchair rentals are also available at the Arita Tourism Association.
