Traveling Light Paper-Cutout Exhibition: Imagination is Magic

About this event

This is an experiential art exhibition offering a fantastical atmosphere created by paper-cutting artist Atsumi Sakai, who developed the unique technique of 'Hikari no Kirie' (light paper-cutout art) by shining light through colored, layered washi paper. Light and video imagery blend with the warmth and beauty of paper cutouts, featuring an original work approximately 20 meters long created on the theme of Nagasaki scenery. Special talks and autograph sessions by the artist will also be held during the exhibition.
