Hirado Two-Day Walk 2026

Held in Hirado City, Nagasaki Prefecture, the 'Hirado Two-Day Walk 2026' is a walking event touring the island's rich nature, Hidden Christian history, and historical sites from the Age of Discovery. Leaving the urban bustle behind, participants can walk at their own pace while enjoying nostalgic scenery. Newly introduced 5 km and 4 km courses make it easy for families to participate. In commemoration of the 20th edition, finishers will enter a lottery to win local specialties, and group participants from Hirado City will receive shopping coupon benefits. Set in Ikitsuki-cho on October 10 and the Hirado-Tabira area on October 11, diverse courses of 26 km, 18 km, 5 km, 22 km, 11 km, and 4 km are available. Eco-trekking will also be held concurrently to experience nature more deeply. Walking courses selected among Japan's 500 Beautiful Walking Paths, participants can fully enjoy the charms of Hirado.
