Iki Island Furusato Fireworks 2026 is a fireworks festival held in Iki City, Nagasaki Prefecture. Revived in 2018 after roughly 40 years, it has been held since 2019 under the theme "Gentle fireworks on Iki Island, thinking of home." By launching fireworks, the event delivers energy and smiles to the community and provides a moment that brightly illuminates the hometown of Iki. Multiple 1-shaku shells are scheduled to be launched again this year. In case of stormy weather, it will be postponed to the following day. The venue is Blue Sea and Green Square (Aoi Umi to Midori no Hiroba), which offers convenient access, being just a 4-minute walk from Gonoura Port (approx. 1 hour by jetfoil/high-speed boat from Hakata Port). Free parking is also available.
