About this event
Held across the Hasami Town Pottery Park area, the Hasami Fire Festival is a bargain-filled event where Hasami ware and fresh local agricultural products are sold at prices lower than market value. A variety of events can be enjoyed, including hands-on climbing kiln wood-feeding experiences, the Chawan Appreciation Festival where unused rice bowls can be exchanged for new ones, and Our Home Flavor Showcase introducing prized home-cooked dishes. In addition, free servings of hot dago-jiru and shishi-nabe are provided, allowing visitors to savor the local food culture.
