The third installment of the "Kaigo Ryugaku Tour" held in Shinkamigoto Town, an isolated island in Nagasaki Prefecture. Building upon the success of last year's tour, it now offers three selectable courses: "3 nights, 4 days," "6 nights, 7 days," and "2 weeks to 1 month (trial employment)." Beyond simple sightseeing, this program lets participants genuinely experience "working and living" on the island. It is ideal for those interested in jobs such as elderly care, nursing, rehabilitation, childcare, cooking, and ICT, or those considering moving to Shinkamigoto Town. Those without qualifications are also welcome. The tour offers courses to learn about the island and welfare, experience work and daily life, and a trial employment course where participants live while actually working. Additionally, selectable experiential programs unique to the island include fishing, making Goto udon noodles, making camellia oil, making salt, as well as a prayer course visiting World Heritage churches. Island supporters will accompany participants throughout the stay, holding realistic consultation sessions about migration and employment, as well as social gatherings with senior transplants. Participation fees vary by course, with discounts available for certified professionals. Transportation subsidies to Hakata Port are also provided, offering 30,000 yen for participants from outside Kyushu and 10,000 yen for those from within Kyushu. This tour offers a chance to experience new encounters and discoveries in Shinkamigoto Town, surrounded by beautiful nature and warm hospitality.
