The 8th Kyushu Japanese Black Tea Summit in Minamata, held in Minamata City, Kumamoto Prefecture, is an event where you can enjoy delicious Japanese black tea gathered from across Kyushu in one place. At the venue, there will be a Japanese black tea tasting comparison experience (separate participation fee of 1,000 yen required) and sales of sweets, which are Minamata specialties. In addition, a tea spoon crafting workshop is planned, providing an opportunity to experience the charms of Minamata through all five senses beyond just Japanese black tea. Staged at the Eco Park Minamata Fureai Square, you can spend a heartwarming time with the rich aroma and flavor of Japanese black tea.
