The 3rd Mount Konoha Trail Run 2026

About this event

The "3rd Mount Konoha Trail Run 2026" will be held in Gyokuto Town, Kumamoto Prefecture, on Saturday, November 14, 2026 (Reiwa 8). Set on Mount Konoha, the symbol of Gyokuto Town, this competition features an 11 km course consisting of approximately 8 km of trail and 3 km of road. The event aims to widely promote the charms of Mount Konoha and Gyokuto Town, preserve mountain trails, and foster interaction and health promotion among participants. Following the favorable reception of the 1st and 2nd editions, the event is held on an expanded scale. The entry fee is 2,500 yen, and the capacity is 200 participants (closed on a first-come, first-served basis). The entry period is scheduled from September 7 to November 5. Even for first-time trail runners, the compact 11 km distance makes it easy to take on the challenge. A social gathering (participation fee: 2,500 yen) is also planned for those interested, making it a warm event that offers more than just running.
