About this event
Organized by the Tamana Region Settlement and Independence Vision Sphere Planning Subcommittee, the multicultural exchange event "Nihon Taiken Tamana 2026" (Japan Experience Tamana 2026) will be held. This event aims to deepen exchange between local residents and foreign nationals, featuring hands-on experiences with Shodai-yaki pottery and making Nankan-age rolled sushi. Participants will have the opportunity to have fun learning and eating while experiencing local specialties. Participation is free of charge. The pottery made can be picked up at a later date. As part of SDGs promotion initiatives, the event aims to realize a multicultural society. Through crafting Shodai-yaki and making Nankan-age rolled sushi, participants can deepen cross-cultural understanding and foster connections with the local community. The event is thoughtfully designed to facilitate friendly interactions among participants.
