About this event
The "Regional Revitalization SDGs Festival in GOOD LIFE Fair 2026" is a hands-on event held in collaboration with the popular game "Momotaro Dentetsu," bringing together 21 local governments from across Japan working on regional revitalization SDGs at Tokyo Big Sight. Visitors can learn about each local government's regional initiatives through exhibits and stage programs designed to let them "have fun, play, and feel a better future." Following the great success of its first edition at last year's Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, this year marks its first Tokyo edition. Minamioguni Town will exhibit a hands-on experience booth titled "The Phantom 'Minamioguni Station' Suddenly Appearing in the Capital Tokyo: A Sustainable, Nature-Rich High-Quality Satoyama with a New Interpretation of the Brand Timber 'Oguni Cedar'," allowing visitors to rediscover local treasures. A variety of content is offered, including next-generation LRT transit and space education in cooperation with JAXA, as well as an app that lets visitors tour booths like playing a game. This event is held inside the venue of "GOOD LIFE Fair 2026," which proposes sustainable lifestyles; admission is free, but advance registration for GOOD LIFE Fair 2026 is required.
