The "53rd Ikeda Town Autumn Wine Festival," coloring the autumn in Ikeda Town, will be held. At this popular autumn event, visitors can enjoy all-you-can-drink Tokachi wine and grape juice, along with the specialty whole roasted beef and Hokkaido BBQ sets. The venue is the event plaza next to Ikeda Wine Castle, making it an autumn festival where you can indulge in Tokachi's rich gourmet food and wine to your heart's content. Tickets are 6,000 yen for adults, 2,000 yen for junior high and high school students, free for elementary school students and younger, and town resident discount tickets are available for 3,000 yen. Tickets are sold through Lawson Ticket, Seven Ticket, the Ikeda Town Tourism Association, Ikeda Wine Castle, and other outlets. Bringing outside food and beverages into the venue is prohibited, but soft drinks and draft beer (limited quantities) can be purchased at the merchandise sales area. Please be careful not to lose the tickets given upon admission, as they are exchanged for the whole roasted beef and BBQ sets. The event will proceed rain or shine and is held annually on the first Sunday of October.
