Ume Autumn Grand Festival, Tsubakihara Festival, and Hachihikihara Festival 2026

About this event

The "Ume Autumn Grand Festival," bringing together the autumn festivals of the Ume area in one place, will be held jointly with the Tsubakihara Festival and the Hachihikihara Festival. It aims to create a major lively occasion once a year and foster interaction and friendship among local residents. Portable shrines (mikoshi) from each district will parade, and traditional performing arts of the Ume area, such as accompanying gaku music and lion dances (shishimai), will be performed together in one venue. Various events such as food stalls, flower mochi tossing (hanamochimaki), a karaoke contest, kagura, and a fireworks display will also be held. In the evening portion, from fireworks launching to the dedication of evening kagura (yokagura), it is a festival that can be enjoyed until the very end.
