Taketa Castle Town KABOSU de Wasshoi ♪ 2026

About this event

A month-long event where visitors can enjoy the charm of "Kabosu," a specialty citrus fruit of Taketa City, Oita Prefecture, through food and experiences. During the event period, 32 shops in the castle town area will offer elaborately crafted kabosu menu items and products. By answering a survey via QR codes placed at the stores, participants can also enter a lottery to win "Taketa's Fine Products." Furthermore, plenty of events for both adults and children are lined up, including the "Hachimanyama Fair Rakuichi Rakuza" and the "Kabosu Beer Garden," which was well-received last year.
