About this event
As dusk falls, about 20,000 bamboo lanterns are lit across the atmospheric castle town of Taketa, creating a magical world. "Chikuraku" is a town-wide initiative looking 100 years into the future of satoyama (woodland hills), repurposing bamboo cut down for satoyama conservation. Please enjoy these 3 autumn nights wrapped in beautiful lights. Event hours are from 16:00 to 21:30 (until 21:00 on the final day).
