In the Nagasakibana area of Bungotakada City, Oita Prefecture, a new hands-on tourism event called "Nagasakibana Sunflower Corridor: Konjiki" will be held. In the sunflower field that serves as the venue for the annual "Nagasakibana Sunflower Festival," a new viewing corridor has been installed, allowing visitors to overlook the flower fields from heights and angles different from usual. During the day, visitors can enjoy an open scenic view looking down upon the blue sky, the sea, and the sunflower fields spreading across the area. At night, through lighting productions, the sunflower field transforms into a magical space where visitors can experience a charming night view distinct from the daytime. The event title "Konjiki" (Golden) encompasses the vivid daytime colors of the sunflowers, the twilight glow, and the warm lights of the night illumination, expressing the overall worldview of the event. This event is a new summer tourism attraction that allows visitors to enjoy summer scenery integrated with Nagasakibana's unique seaside location while walking through a special corridor created within the sunflower fields.
