The '16th Showa no Machi Music Festival' is a music event held at the Outdoor Stage in Central Park, Bungotakada City, Oita Prefecture. It will be held on Sunday, November 1, 2026 (Reiwa 8), with doors opening at 9:00, performances starting at 9:45, and closing scheduled for 16:40. It is organized by NPO BTS Mirai Lab, co-organized by Bungotakada Tourism Association, with cooperation from Bungotakada City, Bungotakada Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Daitoraya Shokudo. Admission is free, and the parking lot adjacent to Central Park as well as Bungotakada City Hall can be used as parking. The event will proceed in light rain, but will be moved to the adjacent gymnasium in case of heavy rain, and canceled in severe weather such as typhoons.
