Held on Sunday, September 20, 2026, in Bungo-ono City, Oita Prefecture, the JAF Kyushu Rally Championship Round 5 "EAST Kyushu 2026" is a motorsport event where top drivers from across Kyushu engage in fierce competition. Based at the Bungo-ono City Ogata Branch Office, it will be conducted as a special stage rally utilizing public and closed roads, highlighting the precise teamwork between drivers and co-drivers as well as advanced driving techniques. Set on a course of about 145 km rich in nature, spectators can enjoy the thrilling driving of rally cars up close. On the day, visitors can watch the rally up close from the gallery viewing area (Mitakesan Nature Park) and experience the distinctive excitement of rally racing. Featuring sharp cornering, bold acceleration, and roaring engine sounds, it is recommended not only for motorsport fans but also for first-time rally spectators. Gallery stage spectating requires advance registration and is limited to 100 vehicles. The participation fee is 1,000 yen per person, but admission is free for Bungo-ono City residents and elementary school students or younger.
