Welcoming Chiharu Matsuyama: Townspeople's Gathering Celebrating His 50th Debut Anniversary

This event celebrates singer-songwriter Chiharu Matsuyama, a native of Ashoro Town who is marking his 50th debut anniversary, honoring his achievements in spreading the name of Ashoro Town nationwide over many years and significantly contributing to its positive image and development, celebrated by the entire town. The event consists of two parts: the first part features viewing of Chiharu Matsuyama's live performance video footage, and the second part features a talk show with Mr. Chiharu Matsuyama himself. During the talk show, Mr. Matsuyama will converse with people with whom he has special ties. In addition, an award presentation from Ashoro Town will take place to commemorate his 50th debut anniversary. Freelance announcer Hiroshi Kise will serve as the master of ceremonies. Admission is free, but eligibility to apply is limited to junior high school students and older who are registered residents of Ashoro Town, with a capacity of 300 people. Applications can be made by return postcard or via the web, with the deadline being Monday, August 31 (must arrive by this date). Attendees will be determined by lottery, with results notified around Monday, September 7.
