Held as part of the Kunisaki Peninsula Minemichi Long Trail 2026, "Rokugo Manzan: Jobutsudani Pizza Trail and Maki Odo" is a tour where you can enjoy history, nature, and food all at once. The meeting place is Hakata Station or Bungotakada Showa no Machi, and travel is by chartered bus. The tour visits Monjusen-ji Temple, Shichu Kannon, Kiyotaki Kannon, and the Kyoran Hokyointo Pagoda, and at Jobutsu Community Center, participants will experience pizza baking together with local members of the Sakura-kai. Afterward, the tour visits Jobutsu-ji Temple and the Rock Shelter Ruins (Iwakage Iseki), shops at Baen no Sato, and heads to Maki Odo. Combining the rich nature of the Kunisaki Peninsula and a tour of the historic temples of Rokugo Manzan with the unique activity of hands-on pizza making using local ingredients, this tour offers a fulfilling one-day experience. Lunch is included, and this event planned and organized by the Kunisaki City Tourism Association allows participants to fully enjoy history, culture, nature, and gourmet food.
