About this event
This is the autumn grand festival of Oobi Hachimansha Shrine, held in October (the day before Sports Day). Boat-shaped floats parade around the village accompanied by celebratory songs sung by men and musical accompaniment of bells and drums played by children. This traditional festival symbolizes local vitality and unity, giving visitors a powerful and moving experience.
