Held in Miyakonojo City, Miyazaki Prefecture, 'Yamanokuchi Dondon Festival 2026' is a community-energizing festival held concurrently with the 1-Year Pre-Event for the National Sports Games and National Para Sports Games. A diverse range of stage performances will take place at the venue, including brass band music, dance, and performances by Hinata Sign. The festival finale features 2,525 fireworks lighting up the night sky, launched between 20:30 and 21:00. In addition, yukata raffles and grand prize lotteries will be held, offering chances to win luxurious prizes. The stage events feature programs that can be enjoyed by everyone from children to adults, such as local traditional performing arts, brass band performances by local junior high school students, kids' dance, and pro-wrestling shows. The venue is the Kirishima Shuzo Sports Land 5th Parking Lot, running from 15:00 to 21:00. In case of inclement weather, it will be postponed to the following day. Over 500 free parking spaces are fully equipped around the venue, and shuttle buses are scheduled to operate.
