36th Nobeoka City Folk Performing Arts Festival

About this event

A festival where organizations preserving traditional performing arts within Nobeoka City gather to showcase the results of their regular practice. Diverse arts unique to Nobeoka City will be performed, including Japanese taiko drumming, Danshichi Dance, Nobeoka Kouta, Banba Taiko, Inoko Festival traditions, Ebisu Dance, kagura, Kaidenma Dance, Mukabaki Usu-Daiko Dance, Chidori, and Igata Hanagasa Dance. On this occasion, the Kitaura-machi Utaito Bo-Odori Preservation Society is invited, presenting a rare opportunity to appreciate the 'Utaito Bo-Odori' stick dance. It is an event where visitors can fully enjoy the city's wonderful array of folk performing arts.
