Held in Rikubetsu Town, Hokkaido, "WANPEACE 2026 Rikubetsu Disaster Prevention & Connecting Lives Festival" is an event where children and pets can enjoyably learn about disaster prevention and the importance of life. Free inflatable play structures featuring Rikubetsu Town's official mascot character "Shibare-kun" and festival lottery games can be enjoyed for free. Additionally, fire engine photo ops, kids dance performances, dog races, accompanied evacuation trial experiences, and spay/neuter reception and consultations will be conducted. Marches and food trucks from Kushiro and Hakodate will set up stalls, and junior high school volunteers will also participate. It is a day where the whole family can play, eat, have fun, and learn about disaster prevention and life.
