About this event
Rikubetsu Town held its 1st off-road racing tournament in 1982, and in 1986 established "Rikubetsu Circuit," one of Hokkaido's largest dedicated off-road courses. Since then, it has hosted racing competitions for buggies, ATVs, and more; these efforts led to hosting the WRC in Tokachi and Rikubetsu, culminating in 2004 with Japan's first-ever WRC Rally Japan. Today, it still serves as a venue for the APRC Rally Hokkaido and Hokkaido series rounds. As the event schedule for fiscal year 2026, this page lists Off-Road Battle 2026 on Sunday, May 17; Doshin Off-Road Race in Rikubetsu on Sunday, August 2; Rally Hokkaido (Rikubetsu Stage) on Saturday, September 5; and Rally Tokachi on Sunday, October 11.
