50th Yamabiko Fireworks Festival

Continuing from 1973 to the present as a major event of Nishimera Village, the 'Yamabiko Fireworks Festival' is characterized by the explosive sound of each firework reflecting off the mountains, literally echoing through the ravine as its name suggests. Approximately 5,000 fireworks are launched into the sky over the Hitotsuse River at the Hitotsuse Riverbed in Tsuru, Murasho, Nishimera Village. In particular, the 200-meter-long Niagara fireworks that adorn the finale spread across the entire river, captivating spectators with their magnificent beauty. At this fireworks festival, you can enjoy powerful fireworks harmonized with the nature of Nishimera Village.
