The "Tsuno Town Fireworks Festival & River Festival" in Tsuno Town, Miyazaki Prefecture, is an event featuring both a fireworks display coloring the night sky and a local river festival on the same day. The fireworks display features approximately 3,000 fireworks bursting vividly across the Tsuno night sky. Fireworks launched from paddy fields after the rice harvest present different appearances depending on the viewing location; while no designated viewing venue is set, they can be enjoyed from any location with a clear view. From the hilltop Tsuno Wine parking lot, visitors can enjoy a unique viewing experience looking down at the fireworks. As the event is funded by visitor donations, its warm and welcoming atmosphere is part of its charm. At the concurrently held River Festival, stalls line the "Ichinomiya Fureai Street" along the Tsuno River next to Tsuno Shrine, along with fun stage programs for children, making it a great way to enjoy a summer night together with fireworks.
