Shiiba Heike Festival

Held in Shiiba Village, the 'Shiiba Heike Festival' is a festival where visitors can experience history and culture unique to this land, where legends of Heike fugitives still remain. In 2025, it was held over two days on November 8 and 9, with an opening ceremony and Horaku-sai ritual on the first day. On the second day, the 'Yamato Picture Scroll Warrior Procession' was showcased, enlivening the festival. In addition, Shin Aoyama, who serves as Shiiba Village Tourism Ambassador, appeared on both days, adding glamour to the venue. Various other events were also planned to entertain visitors. This festival provides a precious opportunity to experience the rich nature of Shiiba Village and its cherished culture.
