About this event

This cycling event runs through the magnificent nature of a Globally Important Agricultural Heritage System (GIAHS) and a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve (Eco Park). Its highlights include the beautiful gorges and satoyama rural landscapes unique to Hinokage Town in Miyazaki Prefecture, along with warm hospitality aid stations featuring local treats. Two courses are provided so that long-ride enthusiasts, beginners, and families alike can enjoy, creating a special ride to fully experience Hinokage in autumn. The Globally Important Agricultural Heritage System Course is approximately 77 km with an elevation gain of 1,717 m, while the UNESCO Eco Park Course is approximately 32 km with an elevation gain of 282 m. The event starts and finishes at the Hinokage Town Community Center, with courses routed through Hinokage Town and parts of Takachiho Town. Masamichi Yamamoto joins as a guest rider, and Madoka Yamamoto serves as the MC.
