About this event

Born in 2017, the Kagoshima Jazz Festival marks its 10th edition this year. Committed to authentic jazz, special stages featuring rare artist combinations that can only be heard here will be held with free admission, thanks to the cooperation of sponsors and supporters. Across two days, many front-line active artists will gather in Kagoshima to perform passionate jam sessions. Authentic jazz will brightly color Kagoshima, creating moving moments together with people who believe in the power of music and a bright future. As an outdoor music event visited by jazz and music fans from inside and outside the prefecture, it will be a wonderful opportunity to fully enjoy the charm of jazz across venues including Tenmonkan Park, Cencerrace Square, Ginza Street, and Nihonmatsu Baba Street.
