At the end of summer vacation, "Starry Sky School in Kamino" will be held, offering a special stargazing experience in Kanoya City. In this event, participants will observe the starry night sky alongside astronomical observation experts. The event consists of two parts: the first part is a milk carton kaleidoscope-making activity for interested participants, fostering creativity. In the second part, the night sky observation begins. Held at the "Kamino" Mountain School Campsite on Saturday, August 29, 2026, from 19:00 to 21:30, this event will create unforgettable summer memories for children. Delicious shaved ice will also be served to participants as a school lunch treat. The event is open to 30 elementary and junior high school students in the city, and participation in only the stargazing portion is free. This provides a wonderful opportunity to stimulate children's intellectual curiosity and deepen their interest in space.
