Historical Romance Tour of Soo City, Shibushi City, and Osaki Town in Kagoshima Prefecture

This is a one-day bus tour exploring Soo City, Shibushi City, and Osaki Town in Kagoshima Prefecture. Participants can experience the history and romance of each area by visiting Mizonokuchi Cave, the first designated National Natural Monument in Soo City; the Fukuyama Clan Garden created by the Shimazu feudal lords; and the Yokose Ancient Burial Mound, Japan's southernmost burial mound group built during the mid-Kofun period. Travel takes advantage of the Miyakonojo-Shibushi Road, which opened in full in March 2025 (Reiwa 7). For lunch, enjoy specialty grilled eel (kabayaki) at "Unagi no Eki" in Shibushi City. In addition, you can enjoy shopping for local specialty products at "Roadside Station Osumi Yagoro Densetsu no Sato (Yagoro Nodayashi)" in Soo City. Planned and operated by the Soo City Tourism Association, this tour offers an in-depth experience of regional charms under the guidance of a tour guide.
