The 33rd Soo City Yukyu no Mori Walking Event

About this event

Set in the Yukyu no Mori forest, certified among the '100 Best Forest Walking Courses in Japan' and '500 Best Walking Paths of Beautiful Japan', this walking event lets you fully enjoy great nature adorned with autumn leaves. At the opening, participants are welcomed with a powerful Ryuko Taiko drumming performance. During the walk, you can take a break at a coffee corner set up inside the forest or enjoy a memorable Japanese maple tree planting experience (separate fee). At the finish line, Okawaragyo Campsite, specialty goods and food/drink booths are set up, and you can fully enjoy the event until the end with a forest concert by the Takarabe Elementary School Brass Band and Mecenat Orchestra, as well as a fun lottery.
