"Kirihalo 2026 | Kirishima Halloween," held in Kirishima City, Kagoshima Prefecture, is a participatory citizen Halloween event celebrating its 11th edition this year. In 2026, it will be reborn bigger than ever, running until night over two days on Saturday and Sunday. The streets turned into a pedestrian zone will transform into "Halloween Yokocho," becoming a lively space filled with the delicious aroma of food and people bustling in costumes. Through a collaboration with CHIMNEY TOWN, the venue will be dyed in a world of "red"—slightly spooky and thrilling, perfectly fitting a Halloween night. Support will be utilized for the foundations of safe operation such as stages, power supply, venue setup, security, and safety measures, as well as production elements that color the venue with lanterns, red lights, and smoke, aiming for a safer and more special event. Genuine entertainment will be realized in Kirishima that will make children say "I want to come again!" and adults take pride saying "Kirishima is amazing."
