2026 Shibushi Port Festival

Held at the Shibushi Port Passenger Ship Pier (Sightseeing Cruise Berth) in Shibushi City, Kagoshima Prefecture, the '2026 Shibushi Port Festival' is the largest summer event in Shibushi City. With the sea as its theme, approximately 10,000 fireworks, including shaku-dama (large shells), music fireworks, and underwater fireworks, will light up the night sky. In addition to fireworks, there are plenty of stage events such as band performances and dance shows, and a food stall village by local restaurants and eateries will open from 17:00. It is an event where you can fully enjoy the summer atmosphere with fireworks and festival festivities. Using public transportation or carpooling is recommended.
